·         Offers have been made on homes 11-15

·         Closings scheduled for 6-8, 10 on November 24

BUYOUT UPDATE 11/13/09:

·         Closings were completed for homes 1,2,4 and 5 on Tuesday, November 10.

·         Closings for homes 6-10 are scheduled for Tuesday, November 24.

·         Offers for homes 11-15 are being scheduled for November 19.

·         The demolition contract has been awarded for homes 1-15. Contractor will proceed on home by home basis only after closings are completed and receiving Notice to Proceed.

·         John McKenna is surveying property owners regarding their need for pick-up of free-standing appliances.

BUYOUT UPDATE 11/7/09:

·         First four closings are scheduled for week of November 9-13.

·         Offers have been made on first 10 properties. Offers accepted on 9, 1 pending.

·         Relocation benefit estimates for properties 1-10 approved by State

·         Appraisal reports for properties 11-15 are being reviewed by State Review Appraiser

·         Fieldwork by appraisers has been completed for all properties

·         Next round of closings and offers expected near the end of November

·         All appraisal reports due by end of year, but may be completed sooner

·         Offers and closings to continue as authorization letters are received from State

·         Demolition contractor has been selected for demolition of first 15 properties

Appraisal Status 10/2/09:

Next week the appraisers should be out to do the field work for homes 16-20.  Appraisals 1-5 have been approved by the state and WEM is working on computing the duplication of benefits so that we can make offers to purchase soon. 

The Appraisals are otherwise in four different phases. 

Appraisals 6-10 are done and we should receive them shortly so that they can be sent to the state. 

Appraisals 11-15 the field work is done and they are working on the written report

Appraisals 16-20 the field work will be done next week, likely Wednesday.  The appraisers should be contacting the homeowners.

Appraisals 21-28 have not yet been started.
